Fish Revival

A few months ago I shot a promo for Tualatin Valley Public Television
here in Beaverton using a song and a puppet that I made. I got an email today from the station requesting another episode. 
I should probably start getting something together. 
I think I'll keep them short at 5 to 10 minutes long. 
They take a long time to edit!

Ahhhh, finally finished!

Dog art was approved, and now I can start on a new project.

I have a couple new things on the horizon. I want to start on either a comic or children's book. I also have a painting series in mind. Now, I have to get off of my butt and actually do what I have in mind. That's the toughest part!

Gray Dog

The gray dog is a no go.  I'm going to switch to brown to see if that is acceptable.

Color

The last dog sketch was approved. They want it colored in (for an additional fee). So here is what I sent for approval today. They wanted the dog to be gray. I tried to keep in line with colors of their site that they want it for.

Progress! They said the last sketch was a big step in the right direction. I guess the character has a whole back story. I wasn't aware of that. They said to give him an apron, plump him up, and reverse his arms (as far as what they are carrying). We'll see if this one is a go, so I can move on to a new project. Worked another 13 hour day, so I am exhausted. Drawing at home is more fun than designing for boxes.

Kansas City

We hung this painting up in our bedroom that I did a couple of years ago. It has no frame, and we thought that it would hurt a lot less if it fell on us in an earthquake than the previous metal framed wedding photo that we had. This was my big state fair painting winner. I should enter it in the Oregon state fair. Probably more competition here than in Sedalia.
